Mid Panel Weatherstrip

MID PANEL WEATHERSTRIP





1. Lift the weatherstrip around the mid panel and position the drain tubes into place.
2. Install about two inches of each corner of the cross-car portion of the seal to help hold it in place.
3. Install the side rail portion of the seal. Soapy water or P80 temporary lubricant can be used if necessary.





4. Use either a trim stick or your thumbs to push the outboard side of the weatherstrip into the retainer. You will feel it pop into place when it is properly seated. Soapy water or P80 temporary lubricant can be used if necessary.
5. Finish installing the cross-car portion of the seal, working towards the center, making sure that it is fully seated on the flange.





6. Install the eight fasteners, two per corner on the weatherstrip retainer.





7. Install drain tubes.
8. Install side rail trim.
