U1113-LOST A/C PRESSURE MESSAGE



Theory of Operation

The A/C Pressure Transducer signal is a direct input to the Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM). The TIPM sends the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) the A/C pressure signal over the CAN C bus.

- When Monitored:
Ignition on.

- Set Condition:
The PCM doesn't receive the A/C Pressure signal over the CAN C bus from the TIPM. The circuit is continuously monitored.





Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding. Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting Procedure.

1. ACTIVE DTC

NOTE: For vehicle communication problems, use the scan tool to refer to the Network Review Screen. The screen depicts a high level view of the vehicle network. Fault and problem areas appear in red. Selecting any of the network components allows access to the source of the problem.

1. Ignition on, engine not running.
2. With a scan tool, select View DTCs.

Is the status Active for this DTC?

Yes

- Go To 2

No

- Perform the CHECKING FOR AN INTERMITTENT DTC diagnostic procedure. Checking for an Intermittent DTC.

2. U0141-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH IPM (FCM/TIPM) ALSO ACTIVE
1. With the scan tool read DTCs.

Is the DTC U0141-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH IPM (FCM/TIPM) also set?

Yes

- U0141 Perform the U0141-Lost Communication with IPM (FCM/TIPM) diagnostic procedure.

No

- Replace and program the Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
- Perform the PCM Verification Test. PCM Verification Test.
