NOTE: Even though the JS27 (Convertible) is not equipped with the Express (AUTO) Up feature, the front window circuits are still referred to as "EXPRESS".

- When Monitored:
Whenever the module is awake.

- Set Condition:
When the Passenger Window Driver Up circuit is grounded during a window up movement command, this code will set.





1. TEST FOR INTERMITTENT CONDITION
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, record and erase the DTCs.
3. Try to operate the Passenger Window up and down several times.
4. Wait 30 seconds.
5. With the scan tool, read the DTCs.

Does the scan tool display B185F-PASSENGER WINDOW CONTROL CIRCUIT LOW?

Yes

- Go To 2

No

- The conditions that caused this code to set are not present at this time. Using the wiring diagram/schematic as a guide, inspect the wiring and connectors.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.

2. WINDOW MOTOR SHORTED




1. With the scan tool, erase the DTCs.
2. Turn the ignition off.
3. Disconnect the Passenger Window Motor connector.
4. Turn the ignition on.
5. Operate the passenger window switch up and down several times.
6. With the scan tool, read the DTCs.

Does the scan tool display B185F-PASSENGER WINDOW CONTROL CIRCUIT LOW?

No

- Replace the Window Motor.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.

Yes

- Go To 3

3. (Q312) PASSENGER WINDOW EXPRESS UP DRIVER CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GROUND




1. Measure the resistance between Ground and (Q312) Passenger Window Express Up Driver circuit (JS41-Cav 1) (JS27-Cav 3) in the motor connector.

Is the resistance below 1,000 Ohms?

Yes

- Repair the (Q312) Passenger Window Express Up Driver circuit for a short to ground.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.

No

- Go To 4

4. (Q322) PASSENGER WINDOW EXPRESS DOWN DRIVER CIRCUIT SHORTED TO THE (Q312) PASSENGER WINDOW EXPRESS UP DRIVER CIRCUIT




1. Measure the resistance between the (Q322) Passenger Window Express Down Driver circuit and the (Q312) Passenger Window Express Up Driver circuit.

Is the resistance below 1,000 Ohms?

Yes

- Repair the (Q322) Passenger Window Express Down Driver circuit for a short to the (Q312) Passenger Window Express Up Driver circuit.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.

No

- Replace the Passenger Door Module.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.
