B11D9-92-BLOWER SPEED KNOB REQUEST INPUT - PERFORMANCE OR INCORRECT OPERATION

Theory of Operation

The A/C Heater Control constantly monitors the Blower Motor switch or dial for proper operation. If the monitored voltage on that circuit drops below or rises above a predetermined value, a DTC will set.

- When Monitored:
With the ignition on.

- Set Condition:
If the internal blower circuit is less than 0.05 of a volt or greater than 4.95 volts for a period of 1200 misc..

REPLACE THE A/C HEATER CONTROL

This DTC detects a problem with an internal circuit in the controller and is non serviceable.

Repair

- Replace and program the A/C Heater Control.
- Perform the HVAC VERIFICATION TEST. HVAC Verification Test.
