Installation

INSTALLATION





1. Position the center rail assembly (2) into position and install the bolts (1) to the alignment marks made upon removal.
2. Install the hydraulic cylinder and clip on the hydraulic lines.
3. Connect any electrical connections to micro switches.
4. Install the trunk side trim panel on the appropriate side.
5. Install the rear trunk sill/trim.
6. Install the spare tire cover/trunk floor.
7. Install the four bolts to the cargo trunk divider.
8. Install one bolt to the retractor bracket on seat back.
9. Install the quarter trim panel on the appropriate side.
10. Install the rear cup holder.
11. Install the rear seat back.
12. Install the package tray or upper rear seat back trim.
13. Install the rear seat cushion.
14. Install the door sill trim panel.
15. Position the 2/3 bow assembly into position on the center rail assembly and install the bolts.
16. Position the front casting assembly into place and install the bolts to the front casting assembly.
17. With the help of an assistant, install the rear panel and start two bolts to hold in place.
18. Tighten two and install the remaining six fasteners to the rear folding top panel.
19. Attach the heated backlite harness retainer push pins.
20. Lay soft top cover over the top assembly.
21. Install the side rail rear weatherstrips, rear portion of the seats, on both sides.
22. Install the side rail rear weatherstrips on both sides, but only the front portion of the rear seals.
23. Overlay the soft top cover to the front and mid sections.
24. Install the side rail middle weatherstrips on both sides.
25. Install the front header bezel.
26. Install the middle side rail trim on both sides.
27. Install the front side rail trim on both sides.
28. Install headliner by connecting the remaining clips.
29. With the help of assistant, position and install the backlite glass and panel and install one screw to hold it.
30. Install the Remaining screws to the rear glass panel.
31. Stretch the headliner over the interior frame and install the screws on the sides of the top retaining the elastic straps.
32. Install the fasteners mounting the headliner to the rear glass top panel.
33. Connect the heated backlite electrical connectors.
34. Install the headliner j-clips to the top frame.
35. Install the push pins on the headliner at the header.
36. Connect the battery negative remote cable.
37. Operate top open and closed to check for binding and proper operation.
