B2278-POWER TOP CONTROL MODULE INTERNAL - PTCM

- When Monitored:
Continuously.

- Set Condition:
The Power Top Control Module (PTCM) detects an internal fault.





Diagnostic Test

1. REPLACE THE POWER TOP CONTROL MODULE IF DTC IS ACTIVE
With the scan tool, read the active PTCM DTC's.
Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?

Yes

- Replace and program the Power Top Control Module.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.Body Verification Test

No

- If the DTC is stored, check for an intermittent condition. Visually inspect the related wiring harness connectors. Look for broken, bent, pushed out, or corroded terminals.
