Supply Hose - 2.7L Engine

2.7L ENGINE

NOTE: Before proceeding, Service Precautions.

1. Siphon as much fluid as possible from the power steering fluid reservoir.




2. Remove the hose clamp (5) securing the supply hose (2) to the power steering fluid reservoir (1). Slide the hose off the end of the reservoir fitting

NOTE: The use of cable operated hose clamp pliers works well to remove and install the hose clamp at the pump.

3. Remove the clamp (3) securing the supply hose (2) to the power steering pump (4) supply fitting, then slide the hose off the supply fitting and remove from vehicle.
