Instrument Panel Pad - Removal
REMOVAL
1. Remove A-pillar trim. Using a trim stick C-4755 or equivalent, gently pry out and remove A-Pillar Trim Panel-Removal.
2. Using a trim stick or equivalent, disengage clips holding speaker grille (1) to instrument panel.
3. Remove defroster grille (1) Removal.
4. Remove the instrument panel center bezel. Instrument Panel Center Bezel - Removal.
5. Remove five top pad fasteners. Three fasteners located along the windshield and two located under passenger bezel.
6. Using a trim stick or equivalent, remove passenger bezel.
7. Remove the airbag fasteners from the instrument panel reinforcement Passenger Airbag - Removal.
CAUTION: The Instrument Panel Top pad may be hard to unsnap from the instrument panel. Be sure not to mar, scuff, or damage the instrument panel pad.
8. Pull top cover rearward to disengage hooks holding front of top pad to instrument panel.
9. Remove top pad from vehicle.
NOTE: If replacing the top pad, transfer the passenger airbag to the new top pad Passenger Airbag - Removal.
