REMOVAL





NOTE: The hydraulic system uses ARAL VITAMOL ZH-M fluid. When replacing components or topping off system due to leak, make sure to use only approved fluid. When adding fluid Convertible Top - Standard Procedure.

1. Disconnect the battery negative remote cable.
2. Open decklid.
3. Remove the spare tire cover/floor panel.
4. Remove the rear trunk trim.
5. Remove the spare tire and jack.
6. Remove the two bolts (2) and one nut to the pump assembly.
7. Separate the pump from the bracket:
a. Unwrap the insulation.
b. Disconnect the electrical connector and un-clip the push pin.




8. Release the pump pressure valve by turning it 90° either way.

NOTE: The valve will be oriented straight up and down when opened.

9. Remove the bolts to the line retaining plate.
10. Move the lines and retaining plate out of the way.
11. Remove pump assembly from the vehicle.
