Passenger Airbag - Installation

INSTALLATION





1. Place PAB into top pad and engage one side of the PAB hooks into their retaining windows (3).




2. Push the PAB down into the top pad (1) making sure to engage the hooks into the loops or tabs (2).
3. Install the instrument panel top pad Instrument Panel Pad - Installation.




4. Install the two fasteners (2) retaining PAB to instrument panel assembly inside glove box opening. Tighten to 9.5 Nm (84 in. lbs.).
5. Connect the two PAB squib connectors (1).
6. Install the glove box Instrument Panel Glove Box - Installation.

WARNING: DO NOT CONNECT THE BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE. PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH MAY RESULT IF THE SYSTEM TEST IS NOT PERFORMED FIRST. FOR THE SYSTEM TEST, Supplemental Restraints Verification Test
