Installation







INSTALLATION

NOTE: Although the compression link is different end-to-end, there is no top and bottom.





1. Position link (5) and install bolt and nut (2) mounting link to crossmember (1). Do not tighten bolt at this time.
2. Install bolt and nut (3) mounting link to knuckle (4). Do not tighten bolt at this time.




3. Install tire and wheel assembly (1) Tires and Wheels - Installation. Install and tighten wheel mounting nuts (3) to 135 Nm (100 ft. lbs.).
4. Lower vehicle.
5. Position vehicle on alignment rack/drive-on hoist. Raise vehicle as necessary to access link fasteners.
6. Tighten compression link fasteners to:
- Bolt at crossmember - 68 Nm (50 ft. lbs.).
- Bolt at knuckle - 81 Nm (60 ft. lbs.).

7. Perform wheel alignment. Service and Repair
