INSTALLATION





1. Install fuel fill hose (1) and clamp (2) to fuel tank (3), do not tighten the hose clamp at this time.
2. Install fuel fill tube screws to fuel door and quarter panel assembly, tighten screws to 2 Nm (18 in. lbs.).
3. Install fuel cap to fuel fill tube.




4. Tighten clamp (2) to 3 Nm (30 in. lbs.). Make sure fuel fill hose (1) is not twisted.




5. Install fuel fill tube ground strap (1) to body.




6. Connect fuel vapor recirculation line (1) to metal fuel fill tube line (2).
7. Install left rear wheelhouse splash shield, Rear Wheelhouse Splash Shield - Installation.
8. Connect the negative battery cable, tighten the nut to 5 Nm (45 in. lbs.).
