DEALER SERVICE INSTRUCTIONS
EMISSIONS RECALL G44 - VECI LABEL

MODELS:

2008 (CS) Chrysler Pacifica AWD

NOTE:
This recall applies only to the above vehicles equipped with AWD (sales code 590) built through September 17, 2007 (MDH 09-17-22).

IMPORTANT:
Many of the vehicles within the above build period have already been inspected or repaired and, therefore, have been excluded from this recall

^ The original Vehicle Emission Control Information (VECI) label on 4 of the above vehicles did not include the required wording to indicate that AWD vehicles are exempt from certain testing.

^ To correct this condition, a new VECI label must be installed over the vehicle's original VECI label.

New VECI labels are being mailed directly to all vehicle owners known to Chrysler Canada with the Owner Notification letter. The owners are requested to install the label themselves or, if preferred, to arrange for dealer installation of the owner-supplied label without charge.
