Combination Switch: Testing and Inspection

LEFT MULTI-FUNCTION SWITCH

Refer to Diagrams/Electrical for the wiring information.

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable. Disconnect the instrument panel wire harness connector from the multi-function switch connector.
2. Using an ohmmeter, perform the continuity and resistance tests at the terminals in the left multi-function switch connector (refer to Diagrams/Electrical for connector views) as shown in the LEFT MULTI-FUNCTION SWITCH CONTINUITY/RESISTANCE TEST table.




3. If the left multi-function switch fails any of the continuity or resistance tests, replace the switch Removal
