Removal







REMOVAL

LEFT MULTI-FUNCTION SWITCH





1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the lower steering column shroud Removal.
3. Remove the upper steering column shroud Removal.
4. Disconnect the instrument panel wire harness connector from the switch.
5. Remove the two screws that secure the left multi-function switch (5) to the housing.
6. Remove the left multi-function switch (5) from column and vehicle.

NOTE: Before starting this procedure, be certain to turn the steering wheel until the front wheels are in the straight-ahead position.

7. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
8. Remove the clock spring from the multi-function switch mounting housing. Removal.
9. Remove the left multi-function switch from the multi-function switch mounting housing.
10. Remove the right multi-function switch from the multi-function switch mounting housing. Removal.
11. Remove the screw (2) that secures the multi-function switch mounting housing (3) to the steering column.
12. Remove the multi-function switch mounting housing (3).
