Exhaust Pipe - Installation

INSTALLATION





1. Position band clamp on the exhaust pipe.
2. Install exhaust pipe into muffler until guide pin seats in slot on muffler.
3. Using a new gasket, connect exhaust pipe to exhaust manifold flange. Tighten bolts to 36 Nm (27 ft. lbs.).
4. Position exhaust pipe for proper clearance with underbody parts. A minimum clearance of 25 mm (1.0 in.) is required.
5. Tighten the clamp nuts to 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.) torque.
6. Lower the vehicle.
7. Start the engine and inspect for exhaust leaks. Repair exhaust leaks as necessary.
