Removal







REMOVAL

1. Disconnect negative battery cable from battery post and isolate.
2. Thoroughly clean all surfaces of brake fluid reservoir and master cylinder. Use only Mopar(R) Brake Parts Cleaner or equivalent.




3. Disconnect wiring harness connector (2) from brake fluid level switch (1) in master cylinder brake fluid reservoir.




4. Remove the screw (3) fastening the fluid reservoir (1) to the master cylinder housing (2).




5. Pull the reservoir (1) straight up and remove it from the grommet seals in master cylinder housing (2).




6. Remove the fluid level switch (2). To do so, push up on the tab (1) at the bottom of the reservoir and pull the brake fluid level switch out.
