PDM-41
PDM-41-LIN OPEN OR SHORT TO BATTERY
For a complete wiring diagram Consult Diagrams/Electrical
- When Monitored:
Whenever battery power is supplied to the LIN module (on the window motor).
- Set Condition:
If the LIN voltage toggles too high or too low for over five seconds, this code will set.
Diagnostic Test
1. DTC PRESENT
Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
Cycle the ignition switch from Off to Run.
Operate the passenger window switch in all positions several times.
With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Does the scan tool display 41-LIN OPEN OR SHORT TO BATTERY?
Yes
- Go To 2
No
- The condition that caused this code to set is not present at this time. Using the wiring diagram/schematic as a guide, inspect the wiring and connectors.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test.
2. (A916) FUSED B+ CIRCUIT OPEN
NOTE: Ensure Fuse No. 10 is good and in place before proceeding.
Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the Passenger Window Motor connector.
