PDM-39-LIN WINDOW MOTOR HALL SENSOR PERFORMANCE

- When Monitored:
During a window operation command.

- Set Condition:
The window motor turns but the module does not receive proper relay signals for over one second.





Diagnostic Test

1. DTC PRESENT
Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
Cycle the ignition switch from Off to Run.
Operate the passenger window switch in all positions several times.
With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Does the scan tool display PDM-39 LIN WINDOW MOTOR HALL SENSOR PERFORMANCE?

Yes

- Go To 2

No

- The condition that caused this code to set is not present at this time. Operate the motor several times more to ensure it does not fail. If the code returns, replace the Passenger Window Motor (regulator).
- PERFORM BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test

2. MOTOR OUT OF CALIBRATION
Run the window motor all the way down then all the way up. Hold the switch in full up position for 1 second after the window reaches the full up position.
With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
Cycle the ignition switch from Off to Run.
Operate the passenger window switch in all positions several times.
With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Does the scan tool display 39-LIN WINDOW MOTOR HALL SENSOR PERFORMANCE?

Yes

- Replace the Passenger Window Motor (regulator).
- PERFORM BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test

No

- Test complete.
- PERFORM BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test
