MSM-PDM Messages Not Received

MSM-PDM MESSAGES NOT RECEIVED

For a complete wiring diagram Consult Diagrams/Electrical

- When Monitored:
With the ignition in run or ACC and vehicle not in shipping mode.

- Set Condition:
The module does not receive any messages from the PDM. Time to mature for the MHSAPM is 5 seconds.





Diagnostic Test

1. ATTEMPT TO COMMUNICATE WITH THE PASSENGER DOOR MODULE
Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, attempt to communicate with the Passenger Door Module.
Was the scan tool able to I/D or communicate with the PDM?

Yes

- Go To2

No

- Refer to Communication. No Response From PDM (Passenger Door Module)
- PERFORM POWER SEAT SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Power Seat System Verification Test

2. MODULE
With the scan tool, erase DTC's.
Cycle the ignition switch from off to on, operate the door locks from the passenger's door and wait approximately 1 minute.
With the scan tool, read DTC's.
Did this DTC reset?

Yes

- Replace the module which set the DTC.
- PERFORM BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test

No

- Test Complete.
