Diagnostic Test

1. INTERMITTENT CONDITION
Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, clear all BCM DTC's.
Actuate the Turn Signals.
With the scan tool, read the DTC information.
Does the scan tool read: Right Front Turn Signal Output Open?

Yes

- Go To2

No

- The condition that caused the symptom is currently not present. Inspect the related wiring for a possible intermittent condition. Look for any chafed, pierced, pinched, or partially broken wires.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.Body Verification Test

2. GROUND CIRCUIT OPEN
Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the Right Front Turn Signal harness connector.
Using a 12-volt test light connected to 12-volts, check the ground circuit.
Does the test light illuminate brightly?

Yes

- Go To3

No

- Repair the Ground Circuit.Refer to the No Response tests Communications - Verbose Codes
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.

3. TURN SIGNAL LAMP
Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the Right Front Turn Signal Lamp connector.
Turn the ignition on.
Turn the Right Turn Signal on.
Using a 12-volt test light connected to ground, check the Right Front Turn Signal Driver circuit.
Does the test light illuminate brightly?

Yes

- Replace the Turn Signal Lamp.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.Body Verification Test

No

- Go To4

4. (L60) RIGHT FRONT TURN SIGNAL LAMP DRIVER CIRCUIT OPEN
Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the BCM C3 harness connector.
Measure the resistance of the (L60) Right Front Turn Signal Driver Circuit and ground.
Is the resistance above 5.0 ohms?

Yes

- Repair the (L60) Right Front Turn Signal Lamp Driver Circuit for an open condition.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.Body Verification Test

No

- Go To5

5. (L60) RIGHT FRONT TURN SIGNAL DRIVER CIRCUIT OPEN
Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the Body Control Module C2 connector.
Measure the resistance of the (L60) Right Front Turn Signal Driver Circuit to ground.
Is the resistance above 5.0 ohms?

Yes

- Repair the (L60) Right Front Turn Signal Driver Circuit for an open condition.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.Body Verification Test

No

- Replace the Body Control Module.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.Body Verification Test
