DDM-5C-LIN WINDOW REGULATED MODULE NOT CALIBRATED

- When Monitored:
During a window operation command.
- Set Condition:
After the vehicle has accumulated ten miles, if the LIN module (on the motor) is not calibrated, this code will set. This code may also set if the battery has been disconnected or the power to the LIN module has been lost for more than one second.
Diagnostic Test
1. DTC PRESENT
Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
Cycle the ignition switch from Off to Run.
Operate the driver window switch in all positions several times.
With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Does the scan tool display 5C-LIN WINDOW REGULATED MODULE NOT CALIBRATED?
Yes
- Go To 2
No
- The condition that caused this code to set is not present at this time. Operate the motor several times more to ensure the express up feature is operational. If it is not, calibrate the module by running the window motor all the way down then all the way up. Hold the switch in full up position for 1 second after the window reaches the full up position.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test.
2. MOTOR OUT OF CALIBRATION
Run the window motor all the way down then all the way up. Hold the switch in full up position for 1 second after the window reaches the full up position.
With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
Cycle the ignition switch from Off to Run.
Operate the driver window switch in all positions several times.
With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Does the scan tool display 5C-LIN WINDOW REGULATED MODULE NOT CALIBRATED?
Yes
- Replace the Driver Window Motor (regulator).
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test.
No
- Test complete.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test.
