DDM-58-LIN WINDOW MOTOR BUS COMMUNICATION FAILURE

- When Monitored:
During a window operation command.

- Set Condition:
A LIN bus error has been detected which is above the failure threshold.





Diagnostic Test

1. DTC PRESENT
Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
Cycle the ignition switch from Off to Run.
Operate the driver window switch in all positions several times.
With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Does the scan tool display 58-LIN WINDOW MOTOR BUS COMMUNICATION FAILURE?

Yes

- Replace the Driver Window Motor (regulator).
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test.

No

- The condition that caused this code to set is not present at this time. Operate the motor several times more to ensure it does not fail. If the motor fails again, replace the Driver Window Motor (regulator).
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test.
