DDM-27-DRIVER HEATED SEAT/SWITCH SHORT

- When Monitored:
Continuously.
- Set Condition:
If the MUX circuit is under 0.10 volt for over 10 seconds, this code will set.
Diagnostic Test
1. DTC PRESENT
Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
Cycle the ignition switch from Off to Run.
Operate the suspect switch in both positions several times.
With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Does the scan tool display 27-DRIVER HEATED SEAT SWITCH SHORT?
Yes
- Go To2
No
- The condition that caused this code to set is not present at this time.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test.
2. SEAT SWITCH
Disconnect the Driver Power Seat Switch connector.
Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
Cycle the ignition switch from Off to Run and wait 10 seconds.
With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Does the scan tool display 27-DRIVER HEATED SEAT SWITCH SHORT?
Yes
- Go To3
No
- Replace the Power Seat Switch.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test.
3. DRIVER HEATED SEAT SWITCH MUX CIRCUIT SHORT TO GROUND.
Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the Driver Power Seat Switch connector.
Disconnect the Driver Door Module C2 connector.
Inspect the (P7) Driver Heated Seat Switch MUX circuit for a short to ground or to another circuit in the seat switch harness.
Were there any problems found?
Yes
- Repair the (P7) Driver Heated Seat Switch MUX circuit for a short to ground.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test.
No
- Replace the Driver Door Module.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test.
