NO PCI BUS TRANSMISSION

- When Monitored:
Ignition is in the Run position and an expected periodic bus message is missing 5 consecutive times.

- Set Condition:
A bus short to ground, short to battery, or an internal module fault is active.





Diagnostic Test

1. DTC INTERMITTENT CONDITION

NOTE: Ensure there is communication with the Body Control Module, Instrument Cluster and other modules before proceeding.

NOTE: For this code to be active, the scan tool will not be able to communicate with any modules on the vehicle, except the PCM.

With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
Cycle the ignition switch from on to off and then back to on.
With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Does the scan tool display NO PCI BUS TRANSMISSION?

No

- The condition is not present at this time. Monitor scan tool parameters while wiggling the related wire harness. Search for any Technical Service Bulletins (TSB) that may apply. Visually inspect the related wiring harness and connector terminals.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test.

Yes

- Replace the Navigation Module.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test.
