Ignition Power Message Not Received

IGNITION POWER MESSAGE NOT RECEIVED

For a complete wiring diagram Consult Diagrams/Electrical

- When Monitored:
With the ignition on.

- Set Condition:
The Hands Free Module does not receive an Ignition Power Status message from the BCM.





Diagnostic Test

1. ATTEMPT TO COMMUNICATE WITH THE BCM
Start and idle the engine.
With the scan tool, attempt to I/D and communicate with the BCM.
Was the scan tool able to I/D or communicate with the BCM?

Yes

- Go To2

No

- REFER TO Communication. No Response From BCM (Body Control Module)
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test.

2. HANDS FREE MODULE
With the scan tool, erase DTC's.
Cycle the ignition switch from off to on and wait approximately 1 minute.
With the scan tool, read DTC's.
Did this DTC reset?

Yes

- Replace the Hands Free Module.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test.

No

- Test complete.
