Amp Message Not Received

AMP MESSAGE NOT RECEIVED

For a complete wiring diagram Consult Diagrams/Electrical

- When Monitored:
With the ignition on.

- Set Condition:
The Hands Free Module does not receive a message from the amplifier.





Diagnostic Test

1. ATTEMPT TO COMMUNICATE WITH THE AMPLIFIER
Turn the ignition on.
Turn the Radio on.
With the scan tool, attempt to communicate with the Amplifier.
Was the scan tool able to I/D or communicate with the Amplifier?

Yes

- Go To2

No

- REFER TO COMMUNICATION. No Response From AMP (Amplifier)
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test.

2. HANDS FREE MODULE
With the scan tool, erase DTC's.
Cycle the ignition switch from off to on and wait approximately 1 minute.
With the scan tool, read DTC's.
Did this DTC reset?

Yes

- Replace the Hands Free Module.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test.

No

- Test complete.
