EQ FAULT - NO EQ ACTIVE - AMPLIFIER

- When Monitored:
When the scan tool performs the Identify EQ Test.

- Set Condition:
When the Amplifier detects a fault with the current EQ mode.





Diagnostic Test

1. AMPLIFIER

NOTE: The fault condition must be present to continue diagnosis. Use the scan tool to perform the Amplifier pretest to verify the fault condition is present before continuing diagnosis.

Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, perform the Amplifier pretest.
Is the fault condition present?

Yes

- Replace the Amplifier.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test.

No

- Refer to the wiring diagrams in Diagrams/Electrical to help isolate a possible intermittent condition.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test.
