MSM-Messages Not Received

MSM-MESSAGES NOT RECEIVED

For a complete wiring diagram Consult Diagrams/Electrical

- When Monitored:
Immediately.

- Set Condition:
The module does not receive any messages from the DDM. Time to mature for the Memory/Heated Seat Adjustable Pedal Module (MHSAPM) 5 seconds.





Diagnostic Test

1. ATTEMPT TO COMMUNICATE WITH THE DRIVER DOOR MODULE
Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, attempt to communicate with the Driver Door Module.
Was the scan tool able to I/D or communicate with the DDM?

Yes

- Go To2

No

- Refer to Communication. No Response From DDM (Driver Door Module)
- PERFORM POWER SEAT SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.Power Seat System Verification Test

2. MEMORY/HEATED SEAT ADJUSTABLE PEDAL MODULE (MHSAPM)
With the scan tool, erase DTC's.
Cycle the ignition switch from off to on, operate the door locks from the driver's door and wait approximately 1 minute.
With the scan tool, read DTC's.
Did this DTC reset?

Yes

- Replace the module which set the DTC.
- PERFORM BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.Body Verification Test

No

- Test Complete.
