Checking Door Glass Adjustment (Coupe)







CHECKING DOOR GLASS ADJUSTMENT (Coupe)





1. Raise the door glass (1) call the way up. There should be a 1 mm (0.04 in.) bulge (3) in the rubber above the upper edge (2) of the sealing mirror triangle (4).




2. Check the window height to the roof weatherstrip (3) when the door is latched in the first catch position. The gap must be between 1-2 mm (.040-.080 in.) (1) from the upper edge of the glass to the roof weatherstrip as shown.




3. With the door latched in the second catch position (closed tight), the edge of the window glass (1) must disappear completely under the roof weatherstrip (2).




4. Check the glass to B-pillar weather-strip. The dimension from the rear edge of the glass (2) to the front edge of the sealing flap (4) on the B-pillar weather-strip is 7-9 mm (.28-.35 in.).
5. If it is determined that the window must be adjusted Adjustments.
