Flap Cable







FLAP CABLE





NOTE: Hydraulic pressure in the convertible top system may deplete after 10 minutes. To prevent the top from lowering, press the convertible top switch momentarily after the system beeps. This will re-energize the hydraulic system.

1. Open the tonneau cover to access the cable.
2. Remove the bolt (1) and the cable shield (2).
3. Disconnect the cable (3) from the pivot (4) by pushing the flap down and rotating the cable until it aligns with the keyhole.




NOTE: Count the number of ridges visible before removing the retaining clip in order to minimize adjustment when re-attaching the cable.

4. Remove the retaining clip (1) and separate the cable (3) from the hinge (2).
5. Remove the flap bracket. Removal.




NOTE: Be sure to note the cable routing for proper installation.

6. Cut the ties (1) on the tonneau cover armature (2), and cut any ties securing the flap cable to the cable bundle.




7. Remove the c-clip (1) at the front of the cable attachment and slide the pin (5) out.
8. Disconnect the clip (2) from the frame (3) and remove the flap cable (4).
