FLAP HINGE





NOTE: Hydraulic pressure in the convertible top system may deplete after 10 minutes. To prevent the top from lowering, press the convertible top switch momentarily after the system beeps. This will re-energize the hydraulic system.

1. Position the hinge (2) and attach the bolts (1). Tighten to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.).




2. Insert the cable (3) through the attachment hole in the hinge (2) and install the clip (1).




3. Connect the cable (3) to the pivot (4).
4. Position the cable shield (2) and install the bolt (1). Tighten to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.).
5. Install the flap seal.
6. Install the flap inner cover. Installation.
7. Install the flap outer cover. Installation.
8. Operate the convertible top and check for correct operation.
