Flap Cable

FLAP CABLE





NOTE: Hydraulic pressure in the convertible top system may deplete after 10 minutes. To prevent the top from lowering, press the convertible top switch momentarily after the system beeps. This will re-energize the hydraulic system.

1. Position the front of the cable (4) in place, insert the pin (5), and install the c-clip (1).
2. Connect the locator (2) to the frame (3).




3. Route the cable along the cable bunch and secure it with ties (1), as necessary.
4. Install the flap bracket. Installation.




5. Insert the cable (3) through the hole in the hinge (2), and insert the clip (1) in the same location it was removed.




6. Push the flap down and attach the cable end (3) to the pivot (4).
7. Position the cable shield (2) and install the bolt (1).
8. Operate the convertible top and check for correct operation. Adjust as necessary.
