Top Frame Assembly

TOP FRAME ASSEMBLY

NOTE: If the frame assembly is being replaced, do not reuse the shims located under the front attachment points. If the original frame is being reinstalled, reuse the existing shims.

1. Transfer all hydraulic lines to the new frame assembly (if frame is being replaced).
2. Carefully install the frame assembly on the vehicle. Using Special Tools 9126 Alignment Pins, align the front part of the frame assembly to the body and install the mounting bolts. Torque the 10 mm bolts to 17-23 Nm (12.5-17 ft. lbs.) and torque the 8 mm bolts to 7.2-9.8 Nm (63-86 in. lbs.). Torque the retaining nuts to 16-23 Nm (12-17 ft. lbs).
3. Install the tonneau cover cylinder to the frame assembly Installation.
4. Install the rear bow and the main cylinders to the frame assembly Installation.
5. Connect the hydraulic lines to the main bow and rear bow cylinders.
6. Install the convertible top cover Folding Top Cover.
