B10D4-TRIGGER CIRCUIT 0 - CIRCUIT LOW ON UNCONFIGURED POSITION - PIN 33/34 [ZH]

For a complete wiring diagram Consult Diagrams/Electrical.

- When Monitored:
The Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) monitors the input and output terminals during the module initialization.

- Set Condition:
Based on the pre-programmed module configuration the DTC will set if the module detects a short to ground on terminals 33 and 34.

Diagnostic Test

1. DETERMINE ACTIVE OR STORED DTC
NOTE: Ensure that the battery is fully charged.

Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, read ORC DTC.
Does the scan tool display active DTC: B10D4-TRIGGER CIRCUIT 0 - CIRCUIT LOW ON UNCONFIGURED POSITION - PIN 33/34 [ZH]?

Yes

- Go To2

No

- No problem found at this time. Erase all codes before returning vehicle to customer.

2. INSPECT CIRCUIT IN QUESTION FOR CONNECTOR DAMAGE
WARNING: To avoid serious or fatal injury, turn the ignition off, disconnect the battery and wait two minutes before proceeding.
