Installation






INSTALLATION




1. Position the knuckle (1) on the upper and lower control arm, and the toe link.
2. Install the bolt and nut (2) securing the upper control arm to the knuckle. Tighten the mounting bolt nut to 105 Nm (77 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the bolt and nut (2) securing the lower control arm to the knuckle. Tighten the mounting bolt nut to 105 Nm (77 ft. lbs.).
4. Install the bolt and nut (2) securing the toe link to the knuckle. Tighten the mounting bolt nut to 105 Nm (77 ft. lbs.).




5. Install the three bolts (3) securing the trailing link (1) to the knuckle (2). Tighten the mounting bolts to 60 Nm (44 ft. lbs.).
6. Install the hub and bearing, then the brake rotor or brake drum over the hub and bearing.




7. If equipped with rear disc brakes, slide the disc brake caliper (2) and adapter (3) assembly over brake rotor and brake support plate.
8. If equipped with rear disc brakes, install the two bolts (1) securing disc brake caliper adapter (3) to the brake support plate (4). Tighten the mounting bolts to 105 Nm (77 ft. lbs.).
9. Position the brake tube routing bracket at the knuckle and install the mounting screw. Tighten the screw to 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.).




10. Install tire and wheel assembly (1). Install and tighten wheel mounting nuts (3) to 135 Nm (100 ft. lbs.).
11. Lower the vehicle.
12. Perform wheel alignment as necessary.
