Rear Glass Comes Out Of Track
OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves adjusting the rear door glass.
MODELS:
2007 - 2008 (J541) Sebring
NOTE:
This bulletin applies to vehicle built before November 04, 2007 (MDH1104XX).
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Vehicle operator may experience rear door glass coming out of the track and window will not roll up.
DIAGNOSIS:
If the above condition is present, perform the Repair Procedure.
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to the detailed installation procedures available in DealerCONNECT > TechCONNECT under: Service Info > 23 - BODY > DOORS - REAR - JSC - 41 > PANEL-TRIM - REAR DOOR > REMOVAL > PANEL - TRIM - REAR DOOR
2. Loosen the division bar and install glass in track.
3. Push the division bar forward holding pressure against the glass and tighten division bar screws. Tighten to 5.5 N.m (48.7 ft. lbs.).
4. Install the rear door trim panel. Refer to the detailed installation procedures available in DeaIerCONNECT > TechCONNECT under: Service Info > 23 - BODY > DOORS - REAR - JSC - 41 > PANEL-TRIM - REAR DOOR > INSTALLATION > PANEL-TRIM - REAR DOOR
