PDM-35-BATTERY VOLTS LOW





For a complete wiring diagram refer to Diagrams/Electrical.

- When Monitored:

At all times.

- Set Condition:

Anytime the module senses voltage input less than 9.0 volts but greater than 2.0 volts, this code will set.





Diagnostic Test

1. CHECK ENGINE DTC's

With the scan tool, read ENGINE DTC's

Are there any ENGINE DTC's present?

No

- Go To 2

Yes

- Refer to symptom list for problems related to ENGINE.

2. TEST FOR INTERMITTENT CONDITION

With the scan tool, record and erase DTC's

Start the engine and run for 2 minutes.

With the scan tool, read DTC's.

Does the scan tool display PDM-35 BATTERY VOLTS LOW?

Yes

- Go To 3

No

- The conditions that caused this code to set are not present at this time. Using the wiring diagram/schematic as a guide, inspect the wiring and connectors.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test

3. (A214) FUSED B(+) CIRCUIT RESISTED





NOTE: Ensure IPM Fuse #46 is good before proceeding.

Disconnect the Passenger Door Module C1 connector.

Measure the voltage between the (A214) Fused B(+) circuit and Ground.

Is the voltage greater than 11.5 volts?

Yes

- Go To 4
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test

No

- Repair the (A214) Fused B(+) circuit for an open.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test

4. (Z822) GROUND CIRCUIT RESISTED





Using a 12-volt test light connected to 12-volts, test the (Z822) Ground circuit in the C1 connector

Does the test light illuminate brightly?

Yes

- Replace the Passenger Door Module.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test

No

- Repair the (Z822) Ground circuit for an open.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test
