IPM-12

IPM-12-SPI INTERNAL COMMUNICATION FAULT

For a complete wiring diagram refer to Diagrams/Electrical.

- When Monitored:

Continuously.

- Set Condition:

The module can not communicate with the on board driver. Time to mature for the IPM is 10 seconds.





Diagnostic Test

1. SPI INTERNAL COMMUNICATION

Connect the scan tool to the Data Link Connector.

Turn the ignition on.

With the scan tool, erase DTC's.

Turn the ignition off then turn the ignition on and wait approximately 1 minute.

With the scan tool, read DTC's.

Did this DTC reset?

Yes

- Replace the module which set the DTC.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test

No

- Test Complete.
