POWER SEATS - SERVICE INFORMATION

DESCRIPTION

Both seats feature power adjustable positioning and power reclining as standard equipment. Each seat contains a lower (1) and a rear (2) power adjustment switch located on the lower outboard seat trim panel between the seat base and the door. The driver's seat features 8-way adjustment while the passenger's seat is 4-way adjustable.

OPERATION

The power seat lower switch adjusts the bottom portion of the seat forward and backward as well as tilting upward and downward both in the front and rear when the switch is pressed in that direction. The back portion of the seat reclines when the power seat rear switch is tilted forward or rearward. The driver side power seat switches are operational with the driver door open, regardless of the ignition switch key position. If the driver door is closed, the ignition switch key must be turned to the ON/RUN position. See the Owner's Manual in the glove box.
