Input Shaft Seal

INPUT SHAFT SEAL

REMOVAL
1. Remove the transmission.
2. Mount the transmission on a holding fixture.
3. Remove the clutch release bearing/slave cylinder.





4. Use a screwdriver (1) to pry out the input shaft seal (2).

INSTALLATION





1. Use Special Tool 9123 Drift (1) and a mallet to drive in the new seal (2).
2. Install the clutch release bearing/slave cylinder.
3. Remove the transmission from the holding fixture.
4. Install the transmission in the vehicle.
