Body Control Module Internal Failure
BODY CONTROL MODULE INTERNAL FAILUREBody Control Module Internal Failure:
WHEN MONITORED
Continuous.
SET CONDITION
If the Body Control Module (BCM) detects an internal malfunction, the DTC is set.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Open fused B(+) circuit
- Body control module
DIAGNOSTIC TEST
1. FUSED B(+) CIRCUIT
Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the BCM C4 harness connector.
NOTE: Check connectors - Clean/repair as necessary.
Measure the voltage of the Fused B(+) circuit at the BCM C4 harness connector.
Q: Is the voltage above 10.0 volts?
YES: Replace the Body Control Module. Perform REAR SPOILER VERIFICATION TEST. Rear Spoiler Verification Test
NO: Repair the Fused B(+) circuit for an open. Perform REAR SPOILER VERIFICATION TEST. Rear Spoiler Verification Test
