Power Distribution Center # 1 Fuse Open

2004 - 2005 (JR) Sebring Convertible

DISCUSSION:

The subject vehicles may experience an open # 1 fuse of the Power Distribution Center (PDC), resulting in the power windows and A/C not operating.

This condition may be caused by the use of the power convertible top switch in the # 2 down position. The # 2 position lowers the top and all four windows at the same time. The speed at which the windows are lowered was increased over previous models and results in the window motors staying in a stalled state for a longer period of time before the top is fully lowered.

When servicing the subject vehicles, order parts package 6102078AA. If the PDC cavity # 1 fuse continues to go open, further diagnosis will be required to determine the source.
