Instrument Panel Top Pad Assembly
INSTRUMENT PANEL TOP PADREMOVAL
1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative remote cable.
2. Remove floor center console. Remove two mounting screws in the front and two mounting screws inside console storage bin.
3. Using a trim stick or equivalent, gently pry out on the right A-pillar trim and remove from vehicle. Refer to Trim Panel.

4. Using a trim stick or equivalent, gently pry out on the right and left end cap cover and remove from vehicle (Fig. 14).
5. Using a trim stick or equivalent, remove top pad defroster grill.

6. Remove instrument panel outboard trim bezel (1 screw) and disconnect wire connector. (Fig. 15).

7. Remove instrument panel inboard bezel (1 screw). (Fig. 16).

8. Remove instrument panel center bezel. Disconnect the 2 wire connectors. (Fig. 17).

9. Remove right instrument panel trim bezel (1 screw) located above glove box. (Fig. 18).
10. Open the glove box. Pinch in on the sides and drop to the floor. Pull down to disengage hinges.
11. Remove two screws to the steering column shrouds and remove.
12. Remove radio.

13. Remove five screws and one wire connector to left lower instrument panel trim bezel (Fig. 19).
14. Remove instrument cluster (4 screws).
15. Remove passenger air bag module. Refer to Air-bag.
16. Remove instrument panel top cover.
17. Remove defroster ducts.
18. Remove instrument panel pad.
19. Remove instrument panel cover panel (26 screws).
20. Transfer parts.
INSTALLATION
1. Install instrument panel cover panel (26 screws).
2. Install upper and lower steering wheel shrouds (2 screws).
3. Install defroster ducts.
4. Install instrument panel top pad.
5. Install instrument panel top cover.
6. Install passenger air bag module.
7. Install instrument cluster (4 screws).
8. Install right lower instrument panel trim onto the instrument panel beam. (5 screws). Connect
9. Install left lower instrument panel trim onto the instrument panel beam. (5 screws). Connect the deck lid release and power switch connector.
10. Install cluster bezel (4 screws) (Fig. 17).
11. Install glove box. Pinch sides and close glove box.
12. Install right instrument panel trim bezel (Fig. 18).
13. Install instrument panel inboard bezel (1 screw) (Fig. 16).
14. Install instrument panel center bezel (Fig. 17).
15. Install instrument panel outboard switch bezel (Fig. 15).
16. Install left and right instrument panel end caps (Fig. 14).
17. Install instrument panel top pad.
18. Install left and right A-pillar trim panels.
19. Connect negative battery cable.
