Symptom:
P1794-SPEED SENSOR GROUND ERROR

Test 1:

Test 2-5:

When Monitored:
The transmission gear ratio is monitored continuously while the transmission is in gear.

Set Condition:
After a TCM reset in neutral and Input/Output equals a ratio of input to output of 2.5 to 1.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- SPEED SENSOR GROUND CIRCUIT OPEN
- TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE
- INTERMITTENT WIRING AND CONNECTORS
