SYMPTOM
DECKLID RELEASE SWITCH FAILURE

WHEN MONITORED
Continuously.

SET CONDITION
The BCM detects the decklid release switch stuck in the depressed condition for more than 30 seconds.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Decklid release switch shorted
- Decklid release switch sense circuit short to ground
- Wiring harness intermittent defect
- Body control module
