Courtesy Lamp Output Failure

SYMPTOM
COURTESY LAMP OUTPUT FAILURE

WHEN MONITORED
Any time the courtesy lamps should be on - door ajar, illuminated entry, or dimmer switch placed in dome lamp position.

SET CONDITION
BCM detects an over - voltage condition on its courtesy lamp output.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Intermittent condition
- Short to battery
- Short to ground
- Body control module
