Customer Satisfaction Notification E12 - Heated Seat Control Modules

2004 (JR) Dodge Stratus and Chrysler Sebring
NOTE:
This notification applies only to the above vehicles equipped with heated front seats (sales code JPM) built from December 19, 2003 through February 10, 2004 (MDH 121910 through 021012).
- The front heated seat control modules on about 50 of the above vehicles may cause the seat elements to overheat under certain operating conditions. This could damage the seat covers.
- To correct this condition, the right and left side front heated seat control modules and wiring harnesses must be replaced.

DEALER VIN LISTS Located On DealerCONNECT - Global Recall System (GRS)
Global Recall System (GRS) has been developed to provide dealers with an up-to-date list of involved vehicles by recall number and by dealer code. Owners known to DaimlerChrysler are also listed. Involved vehicles will be removed from GRS within several days of submitting repair claims.
To use the GRS in DealerCONNECT, you first need to click on the "Service" tab and then in the Reports and Information section click on "Global Recall System". Your dealer's VIN list for each recall displayed can be sorted by: VIN sequence, city, postal code, phone number or those vehicles that according to our records were unsold at time of the recall launch.
