Service Procedure

1. Remove rear seat cushion by pulling upward on the forward edge of the cushion.





2. Remove the two center seat back retaining nuts (Figure 1).

3. Remove the rear seat back.





4. Tighten the left rear seat belt retractor retaining bolt to 30 ft. lbs. (40 N.m) (Figure 2).

5. Install the seat back.

6. Install the seat back retaining nuts and tighten to 45 ft. lbs. (60 N.m) (Figure 1).

7. Place the rear seat cushion into position and push down on the forward edge of the cushion to engage the retaining clips.
