Symptom:
P1652-SERIAL COMMUNICATION LINK MALFUNCTION

Test 1-3:

Test 4:

When Monitored:
Continuously with engine running.

Set Condition:
The DTC sets in approximately 20 seconds if no BUS messages are received by the TOM. Note: Due to the integration of the Powertrain and Transmission Control Modules, bus communication between the modules is internal.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- ENGINE COMMUNICATION DTCS PRESENT
- POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE
- INTERMITTENT WIRING AND CONNECTORS
